If you are new to kiting, we wouldn't recommend the Blade as a first kite. It's a bit like learning to drive in a Lambourghini. Brief exhilaration, but probably followed soon after by fear and injury.

Blade V Data There are few kites on the planet for which almost every kiter has a story to tell. The Blade is one of those kites. Developed over five generations, no other land kite can offer the same solidity of power, exceptional stability, and most importantly, limitless fun and exhilaration.
Legend has it the Blade 4.9 once put a man on the moon. Some legends aren?t true but nothing is more certain than the power that is in your hands when the Blade is in the air. | |

Technical Information Exceptional Design The Blade V's high aspect ratio and swept plan form create a fast, crisp turn rate, which, combined with a monstrously powerful aerofoil, creates insane lift and float, whilst retaining the stability loved by all Blade flyers High Cell Count
The Blade V has a thin aerofoil design and is made up of 30 cells. Compared to the average 15 of an intermediate kite, the extra cells keep the aerofoil shape accurately defined, making it very fast and powerful. V-Ribs
With the Blade V, minimal bridling and V-ribs find the very best balance between maximum support, and reducing the drag as much as possible. Doing so moves the support inside the kite spread the driving forces across the canopy to keep solid formation and exceptional aerodynamic form.
Exceptionally Intelligent Design The Blade V is built with the intelligence to keep you flying with as much ease as possible. Our sand traps help to stabilise flight by allowing you to remove sand and debris from common collection points. Also, Mylar capping sewn to the trailing edge adds a stiffness that allows the kite to slice through the air with precision. Cross Port Venting
Cross port venting allows air through-flow between the cells to support optimum consistency when inflated, adding particular efficiency to the kite during launch and turns.
